Kent Tennis run County Training to enable the top players in Kent to train together. The ethos of the training is to create a camaraderie and loyalty to county tennis where players gain the opportunity to work on tactics (especially in doubles) in a structure which links to selection for the County Cup teams.

County Training mostly takes place on Sunday afternoons or evenings once a month. Each age groups training takes place at slightly different times of the year depending on when the County Cup event is. Training is at an indoor venue where possible with sessions lasting 2 hours.
