LEAGUES

Kent Tennis organise leagues throughout the year. These leagues provide clubs with the opportunity of fun, enjoyable and competitive tennis for their members at the appropriate playing standard. Leagues range from being county wide to more localised and comprise of formats that enable both singles and doubles play. Further information can be found below for specific leagues. All clubs that enter our league are Kent LTA affiliated clubs.

Don't forget that the ULEZ area will include almost all the tennis clubs within the M25, to check your car’s eligibility for free travel on the Transport for London website:

Kent League

Draws and Results

A doubles league that runs in both the summer and winter seasons. A team consists of 4 players split into 2 pairs. A match contains 4 rubbers with a scoring format of 2 tiebreak sets and a Match tie break for the 3rd if required. 

Summer Divisions:

Ladies / Men's / Mixed (weekend) 

Ladies / Men's Vets / Mixed Vets (midweek)

Winter Divisions: 

Ladies/ Men's/ Mixed/ Ladies Vets/ Men's Vets/ (weekend)

Ladies O 60's / Men's O 60's/ Men's O 70's (midweek)

LTA National League - Kent - Adult/Junior

National League

Draws and Results

 A singles and doubles based team competition, open for all LTA Registered Venues.  It aims to provide players of all ages (8U - Open) with regular league matches, against players of a similar standard in a competitive environment.

Summer (8U - Open)

4 player and 2 player teams 

Playing season is April - July on set dates

League format only

Winter (8U - 18U)

2 player teams

Playing season is Oct - March on set dates

Qualification draws leading to Knockout

County Finals day in March to find our Kent Champion

District League - Adult/Senior

District league

Kent have a number of district leagues within the county. These are mainly doubles leagues which provide more localised League competition. These league matches take place on weekends and on weekdays (daytime and evening).
