EQUITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
POLICY and PLANS
When we launched our new charitable structure at the start of 2024, we also embarked on an ambitious programme to “Open Tennis Up” in Kent – reflecting the LTA mission within our county plans for Kent in 2024.
We want to make inclusion the norm rather than the exception, ensuring our sport reflects the diversity of our communities. We fully recognise that this needs to be a long-term commitment, but we are determined to provide the leadership and support that will incrementally improve the diversity of the tennis landscape across Kent.
We have created our first Inclusion Action Plan, and will update that from time to time to show actions that are fully completed. We have published that plan HERE and in the spring of 2025 we will provide our first progress report against it. We will also highlight new opportunities that have arisen and update the Inclusion Action Plan so it remains a living document that reflects the evolving actions and priorities we set for ourselves.
