LTA YOUTH

LTA Youth Schools is a free programme for all schools! It has been designed specifically for schools to support the curriculum and wider school outcomes, and brings together inclusive PE lesson plans, personal development resources, teacher training and much more. It’s all been designed by teachers, for teachers. The programme helps pupils develop key life skills such as resilience, teamwork and problem solving, all while getting active through tennis. Teachers are supported with easy-to-use resources that can be adapted for different ages and abilities.

LTA PARKS

There are currently 1.7 million adults and many more children who play tennis in a local park every year, and park tennis courts are particularly important in providing affordable, engaging, and accessible opportunities to play. The Park tennis project is a nationwide investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts and open the sport to many more people. A number of park courts in the county have benefited from this investment. To book a court at your local park please click HERE.

GET INVOLVED

Volunteering in tennis is fun, rewarding, and essentially it enables thousands of people to enjoy the game every week. Whether you play tennis or not, and no matter how much time you can spare, there are plenty of ways to get involved at both club and county level. With countless opportunities and thousands already volunteering each year, why not join them and make a difference?

AT YOUR LOCAL CLUB

If you're already a club member, the easiest way to get started is by asking the club secretary or another committee member how you can help. Don’t hesitate - many clubs rely on volunteers, and opportunities often go unadvertised. Volunteering roles are flexible and varied to suit your interests, skills, and availability.
