SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The Kent Tennis Secondary Schools’ Doubles Championships, staged during the Spring and Summer terms for students in Years 7–13, provide a fantastic opportunity for players of all abilities to take part in fun, engaging, and competitive tennis. LTA YOUTH Schools’ League: Aimed at players of all levels in years 7 to 10, this singles and doubles team-based league runs over the summer term. All Schools must be registered via www.LTA.org.uk/schools to take part in the competition. Registration is FREE for all schools.
LTA YOUTH Schools National Championships: For club and county level players in Years 7 to 13, players compete in teams of four, playing singles and doubles. Boys participate in the Glanvill Cup, while girls compete in the Aberdare Cup. Schools must register through www.LTA.org.uk/schools to participate in the competition. Registration is completely FREE for all schools.
SENIORS
Like Seniors Tennis GB , Kent Tennis is dedicated to promoting tennis for players of all standards aged 35 and over. We run Kent Senior Singles and Doubles Championships over the winter season for players aged 35 to 80+, offering a fantastic way to meet and play players from across different clubs.

Ever dreamed of stepping onto Wimbledon’s legendary grass courts? Now’s your chance with Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone. Relaunched in 2023 by the LTA in partnership with Vodafone and the AELTC, this is the UK’s largest individual mass-participation tennis competition, now featuring more age groups and disability categories. Players start at local events in clubs, parks, or schools, progressing through County and Regional Finals for a chance to compete at the National Finals at Wimbledon. Categories include: • Singles (ages 11–14) • Doubles (ages 11–18) • Adult Doubles (ages 19+) • Disability (Wheelchair, Visually Impaired & Learning Disabilities) Your Wimbledon journey starts here
